no thanks, i've already taken one to the gut

maybe we have a little too much will power as human beings. i don't think we are sensitive enough either. if we were more sensitive we would stop eating once we got that terrible pain of fullness in our stomachs. and we would diet if it hurt our backs too much because we were so heavy or because our new boobs were too big. but our will to boost our ego and to fit in can cause us to hurt ourselves. i mean should we really be de-sensitize ourselves so much with all the movies and media and potty-mouthing at recess. we are in such a hurry to experience all that we can because we don't want to fall behind others who we might get jealous of if they've already been to paris and have seen the directors cut of chainsaw massacre. we've experienced it all by 20 and all we have left to do is try to take things more and more to their extremes. peer pressure won't let us slow down and take things at a natural pace and it's such a shame. i might as well drink away my worries eh?

haha, it certainly IS very funny. it's just interesting how easily motivated we can be to do things we wouldn't want to do but we do them because others seem to want us to.

and are you trying to say, 'dude, if you knew how much substance was in my one comment then you would understand why i only have to comment once a year'

but actually shawn, your comment was only as important to me as the clouds, so white and gaseous and elusive. when will those clouds fill the sky blocking out the blue? not a majority of human tongues will sing their praises that day, even if they were sitting in their pews.

haha, i don't know what i said exactly in my comment to your comment. i don't have time to read it now. but anyway, it's not what i say but what i'm trying to get. when i want someone to expound or just say more about anything i usually write something that really gets to a person enough to make them write more. so i probably purposely took you the wrong way so you would be forced to explain yourself some more.

i've been thinking that if you have the choice to choose what you want to do regardless of whether it is right or not then i guess you can choose how you wish to think. this should be obvious but realizing it now it is somewhat unburdening. i always thought the thinking world, since it had ideals and morals and all, had to be perfect. but i can choose to 'see' the world how i wish. there is no exact reality. so just like there are heroic models of battlefield warriors there are also morals and ideals that are just models, things to make you strive harder.

i find that my choices of how to see the world tend to lie in my excuses for my human nature. sometimes it is in my nature to ignore and change my nature but other times i wish to allow it. when i wish to allow it i am in fact stating that that wish or action is correct. so i like to have people explain themselves because perhaps i will like their explanation and use it for myself. i always like yours shawn.

haha, so does my health consist of my being either alive or dead. and is the only way you know updates are rare is because of my sister's apparent availability?
